Michael Veltre, DPM, PC

Dr. Veltre's main goal is to make sure his patients clearly understand their condition and all of their options. Then he wants to provide treatments in the most compassionate way possible.

"My patients tell me I have very gentle hands," Dr. Veltre says. "A lot of patients say they expect to have a painful experience during the examination but they are surprised when they don't."

Experiencing acute or chronic foot and ankle pain can be a huge detriment to your life. Dr. Veltre is committed to treating your problems effectively, using the best techniques and procedures.

Dr. Veltre specializes in diabetic foot care, wound care,and sports medicine. He is board certified in Diabetic Wound Treatment and Prevention.

With 25 years of private practice experience, Dr. Veltre has a depth of knowledge from geriatric care to lower extremity injuries to limb salvage to circulation disorders. Twice a week, he visits nursing homes to offer care.

In his off hours, Dr. Veltre likes to exercise. He also enjoys taking cruises.

And what would he do if he wasn't a doctor?  "I'd be a college professor," he says, "Probably teaching biology".
